In 1903 this building was a bank. In 1942 it became a Barbershop. There has been a barber in this building for over 80 years. Mr. Percy Phillips was the first barber. Following a new barber bought out the business named Mr. Campbell. He was a barber here for 58 years. we plan on making a 100…!!! So, enjoy waiting your turn in our speakeasy bank vault. Here at the Delmar Barbershop, we STILL give traditional straight razor single blade shaves you haven’t. live until you’ve experienced the pleasure Ofa shave by a barber, so recline back in one of our vintage old school barber’s chairs. The barber will wrap your face in a hot towel, then massage a lemon base cream to open your pores. After you receive another hot towel, you will sure, feel nice and relaxed on verge of falling asleep. Then the barber will massage some cocoa butter to soften your facial hair, then with a with a barber lather brush and warm lather your facial HAIR will be removed. giving you the closest shave you ever had, finishing with a cold towel to close your pores THEN massaging cooling cream. You will feel like a new man ready to take on the world…
